Completed Cross Stitch: Cute Kitten

I really enjoyed seeing this cute kitten come to life! Spring patterns are my favorite!

Stitched on: 14 Count Aida

I used DMC thread to stitch this piece and the pattern shows it takes approximately 65 hours to stitch. Wow!

The easiest part to stitch was the rain boot, the kitten's face, and the flower vase. The backstitching was pretty challenging.

It was quite hard for me to see the backstitching on the kitten's face due to it being yellow on the pattern. It was also difficult for me to see the actual backstitching on some of the flowers as I was stitching. The mug was difficult to stitch in general due to the way the pattern was separated in the magazine. I would definitely make a photo copy to stitch from next time!

Overall, I'm super happy with the completed piece and I think he is absolutely adorable!
