Completed Cross Stitch: Fetching Folkart

Back in January of 2017, I completed this super cute and fun Folkart piece. It was a pretty quick stitch and great for a beginner because it has whole stitches and minimal backstitching. The birds are super cute and I love the needle addition!

It was published in the World of Cross Stitching Magazine in Issue number 246. It's is showing unavailable on Amazon, but you may be able to find it at a later time so I went ahead and included my affiliate link just in case.

It is designed by Lucie Heaton. I stitched this piece on 14 count Aida and it has a stitch count of 124 high x 96 wide with a design area of 8 3/4 x 6 3/4.

Folkart usually isn't the type of pieces that I'm drawn to, but I love the birds and had to have the pattern as soon as I saw it. It's still in my "to be officially completed" pile, but I'm hoping to get around to hanging it in my laundry room in the future.

Here are a couple of pictures that I had taken as I was stitching this piece...

Happy Stitching!!
