Completed Cross Stitch: Woods Behind My House

The backstitching in this Cross Stitch project really made a difference! It made the butterflies and bird come to life!

Kooler Design Studios is one of my favorite designers. I absolutely think this pattern is beautiful. However, I did have a few issues with the thread supplied with this kit. I'm not sure what type of thread Artiste included with this kit, but it constantly shredded and broke throughout which made stitching this piece aggravating. I also had a hard time seeing the small print on the pattern.

Overall, I think the final Cross Stitch piece turned out beautiful! I would definitely stitch this again, but I would need to replace the thread.

I have a frame planned for this piece, but it needs to be cleaned and painted because I purchased it from a thrift store and I haven't gotten around to doing that. I'm a bit of a procrastinator. :)

These are a couple of up close pictures as I was stitching...

I purchased this kit from Hobby Lobby on sale, but it is listed on Amazon (affiliate) if you are interested in purchasing this kit.

Have you stitched this pattern using the Cross Stitch kit? Did you have issues with the thread like I did?
