Completed Cross Stitch: Cupcake Trio

These pastel cupcakes look good enough to eat!

I'm already working on my next piece from the same book this pattern is in and I'm thinking of turning it into a bookmark. If I do, I will share with you exactly how I make my bookmarks.

This piece was pretty quick to stitch up and I think it would look super cute as a bookmark  as well for a cookbook or even on a kitchen towel. Of course, it would also look adorable framed and sitting on a shelf in the kitchen.

There isn't a name in the book for these cute cupcakes so I will call them my cupcake trio.

I stitched this pattern on 14 Count Aida using 2 strands of DMC thread for the full stitches and 1 for backstitching.
